A bid tabulation is attached for review. FUNDING SOURCE: 179-79153-000 Capital Projects-CVB/CIP Non -Bond Funded/Wallis Building Expansion andRemodeling.................................................................................$19,418.40 BACKGROUND: On September 1, 2001 the Governor signed legislation raising the formal bid limit requirement from $15,000 to $25,000. In accordance with City Purchasing Policy three written quotations were taken and advertisement was not required. The purpose of this bid was to obtain competitive pricing to convert part of the present storage area and 2 offices at the Wallis Building into one large area to accommodate nine cubicle areas for Staff. Three written quotations were solicited. Two vendors submitted pricing and one vendor declined to respond. The low bid was from Keltner Construction, Inc. and met all of the specification requirements of the bid. Staff recommends award of a contract to Keltner Construction, Inc.
