SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST CU01-63
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council withdraw
without prejudice Conditional Use Request CU01-63, and take any action necessary.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
A conditional use request for on -premise consumption of alcoholic beverages (beer,
wine, and mixed drinks) in conjunction with a restaurant with dancing to be located
within the Grapevine Mills mall was tabled at the December 18, 2001 meeting. The
applicant, Mr. Joe Way of Corte Enterprises, Inc., asked that the request be tabled in
order to work out the details of relocating his restaurant/dancing concept into another
area within the mall. The mall management staff has had no further contact with the
applicant, nor has the applicant responded to Staff's repeated phone messages.
Therefore, Staff recommends withdrawing the applicant's request without prejudice.
