FUNDING SOURCE: The City of Grapevine is proposing not to contribute any City funds for this project. The funding will be in the amount provided through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The estimated cost for these improvements is $97,845.00. BACKGROUND: The proposed project consists of replacing the existing 6" ductile iron line on Wall Street between Jenkins Street and Dooley with an 8" PVC water line. This area is located in the Original Town of Grapevine, CDBG Target Area #1, bounded by Wall Street, Dooley Street, College Street and Jenkins Street, designated as census tract 1137.02. These improvements will contribute to the upgrade of the area by providing an improved water supply to the residents along Wall Street.
