at 4.:00 pm on November_ 2` aat the Library_.
absent were Fr<�nces _ Halstead and Ed peiitt. _The
minutes were read and approved. The Librarian made
a few reports ( circulation down, contact with Clydene
Parker etc.) New, _Business was_ discussed. Mrs. Tate
made a motion that the December meetingbe
with as it fell on Christmas Day, Abbie brown .seconded
the motion. Discussion.. Motion carried.
Nominations for Board -Chairman Were accepted. Mrs.
by acclamation
Tate made a motion that Sue 2immons be elected to
serve as Board Chairman until May 2974 when new officers
are elected. Riney Jordan seconded the motion. Discussion.
Motion carried.
There was a lengthy dIscuss ion on book _selection and
censorship.
Cookies were brought by Abbie Brown.
