at the Library. All member present except Vivian Tribble
(excused), Minutes were read and approved on a motion by
Nancy Armstrong and a second by Frances Halstead.
Librarian gave her report on circulation., fine money, money
from memorials, number of books in library, books ##processed
this ;year, and a report on the Summer Beading Prvgram. There
was also a leng ," discussion on the budget; funds to be
used from a grant from the State and Federa.1 Governments.
Hazel Cashman made a motion that Father B. Write a letter
the editor` of the Grapevine Sun about the reponsibility
of the patron to return checked-out books to the Library.
It was thought that this might be of value ingetting the
books returned. Riney Jordan Seconded the motion. 'Motion
Carried.
It was suggested that the LibrarUn compose a form letter for
the overdue notices and let the Board carefully examine the
letters and offer constructive criticisms and suggestions.
The first notice####f would be a card, 2nd notice a<letter,
and a 3rd follow up letter if necessary°. Librarian will
complete this job.
Hazer Cashman made a motion that #-##the meeting adjourn.
Abbie Brown seconded the motion. `leeting adjourned at 6:00.
