,There were tao absent -----Ed Pewitt and Nancy Armstrong. .Abbie
Brown has resigned. The minutes were read and approved. The
Librarian gave a report for the year which included circulation
fines, books paid for, new cards, books shelved and the Summer
Reading Program. Several new items were brought to the attention
of the Board. They were: Writing of manual, know to deal with
overdues Friends of Libra LSS Program for next
� _ �� g year (McNaughton
Plan explained) and zmount of money the library would be re'
ctiving and several other items. There was a lengthy discussion
on the pros and cons of censorship. The Board asked that the
Librarian find out what other librarians were doing about this and
report back to them. The Board asked that the Librarian write
a letter of appreciation to Abbie Brown for her time of service
on the Library Board. She was also asked to buy a sympathy card
and send it to Jo Jackson because of the death of her mother.

Hazel Cashman made a motion to adjourn and it was seconddd by
Riney Jordan. Meeting was adjourned at 6:00 pm.
