were read and approved. The Librarian gage a report on the increase in
for January1977 i
,circulation was up to 21151' Other years it had averaged less usually
about 1,500 or 1,, 600., Librarian also reported the; federal funds had been
'sent to LSS office. Our po tion of these funds are $938.00.: We have asked
LSS office to buy film projector. It can be bought cheaper on a bid process'
since other libraries are buying too. The rest of the .funds willbeused
either on books or software. It was suggested that we ask LSS office if
we could buy filmstrip projectors with part of it. Also it was suggested
that projector be available to public(clubs, chIurces 11 etc) under certain
conditions, and that the board look further into setting up rules and reg-

ulati,ons for its use and also if there should be a fee charged fo its use.
This will be discussed later after receipt of projector. Robbie reported
iht she gets a film packet of 4 new'childrens :films each month. These packets
restate with other area. cities. "Spot booking" can be done on particularly
good films via mail. Users of the film are to sign a contract subject;to
Librarian -patron relations.
The Library Systems application and annual report form is due`in to
,Texas State Library on March 1, 1977. Librarian. is preparing this form.
