The Library Board met: on Tuesday,.. 29, 1977 at 5z`00 pmin
the Library. The meeting was called to order by Father B. Fd Pewitat

decided that more imput from members would be used to determine the
model, type. brand to purchase Th Board expressed their desire and
approval of such an addition to the library.
Mrs. Gibbs brought the members up-to-date regarding the new library
f'acilit'y. She felt sure that more information would be available
after a City Council meeting schelduled fortoday• No date for moving
Or plans can be .made until , official word from the City Council.
The Board made a special point to commend Father B. on being appointed
'Citizen of the Month" in the Grapevine Advertiser. The members were
unanimous in giving this special recognition to the Chairman of the
Board.
A discussion followed regarding appointments for vacated places on the
library Board. Names were submitted to replace the vacancy created by
the resignation of Abbie Brod. Several names were given to the Librarian
as suggestions.

:The Texas Library Association meeting was discussed briefly. Mrs. Gibbs
will be attending the convention on April 13-16, in El Paso. She asked
Board members to be available to assist Paula Taylor, clerk, in whatever
,way possible.
