B. become chairman of the Board and that Jeanne Wingate be electedMAN

as Secretary. Riney Jordan made a motion that, -the nomina tions cease and that
the slate of offt_ ers be elected. by acclamation. Fr ces Halstead
seconded the motion. Motion carried.
A discussion of the new l braryf ollowed « Mrs. Gibbs, reported that
Progress was being made on the desigping of the interior. She also
suggested that a Library Board walk-thrungh could be made later«
b, s v Tibbs reported on the "Friends of the Library". The organizational
meeting will be held on June 7, The "Friendst° plan a book sale during
the Fall Festiva? in. October. They have also planned a "baby shower"
for the new Library.
A discussion followed concerning over -due books. The method of re
ducing overdues was discussed in depths It was recommended that the

Mrs. Gibbs _reported that the movie projector ordered by the Library-
Systems Service has arrived and will be ready for use.,during the

summer. She also informed the Board that a feature length film was
available for the late summer. Riney Jordan suggested that we use
Dove Elementary as QU' p?_aoc to shoe the film.
Since there was no other business, Riney Jordan made a :notion that

the meeting adjourn. Motion was seconded by Florence Florence.
Motion carried. Adjourned at 5:30 dim All members present except
