SUBJECT: MANAGED SERVICES PROVIDER CONTRACT RENEWAL
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council consider approving an annual contract renewal with BIS Consulting in an
amount of$16,800 for dedicated server hosting for the Public Works Department.
FUNDING
Funds are currently programmed in various Public Works IT Software License and
Maintenance Fees accounts in an amount not to exceed $16,800.
BACKGROUND:
BIS provides the host servers for the Public Works Departments ArcGIS Server Software
and Cartegraph OMS Web applications and databases. The servers provide access to
the application website and the management tools to maintain the asset management
system and the GIS system of the Public Works Department.
Staff recommends approval.
