FUNDING SOURCE: 210-42205-340-2 Lake Enterprise Fund/Course Maintenance/Grounds Maintenance......................................................................................$23,400.00 BACKGROUND: This purchase is for 12,000 gallons of liquid fertilizer to be delivered in bulk quantities of 1,000 -gallon increments or as required for ground maintenance. House Bill 197 raised the formal bid limit requirement from $15,000 to $25,000. In accordance with City Purchasing Policy bids were solicited through the Internet e- commerce web site. Bids were distributed to eleven vendors with two vendors responding. An advertisement was not required. A copy of the bid tabulation is attached for review. Green Industries was the lowest bid received and met all of the required specifications. Staff recommends approving the purchase from Green Industries.
