SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST CU01-20, MILLS CORPORATION AND
FINAL PLAT OF LOTS 1R2, 2, 3, 4, AND 5, BLOCK 1, GRAPEVINE
MILLS ADDITION, PHASE 1
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Council table Conditional Use Request CU01-20 and the final plat of
Lots 1R2, 2, 3, 4, and 5, Block 1, Grapevine Mills Addition, Phase 1, to the June 19,
2001 meeting and take any other action necessary.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Conditional Use Request CU01-20, submitted by Louise Halprin of Morley Architects on
behalf of the Mills Corporation relates specifically to the subdivision and replatting of
four areas (Polar Ice, Sun & Ski, Sega Gameworks, and a future anchor tenant site)
within the mall proper. Before this can occur, various "building code" related issues
must be resolved. It was the applicant's intent that these issues would be resolved prior
to the public hearing but they have not—thus the need to table the request to the next
scheduled meeting.
