SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT OF THE GCISD STUDENT EX -OFFICIO
MEMBER OF THE PARKS & RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD
RECOMMENDATION:
The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board recommends that the City Council approve Mr.
William Cherry, 3220 High Meadow Drive, as the student ex -officio member of the Parks
& Recreation Advisory Board for a period of one year.
BACKGROUND:
Several members of the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and staff interviewed Mr.
Cherry in May of 2001. The Board passed a motion at the May 10th meeting to
recommend the City Council appoint Mr. Cherry as the student ex -officio member of the
Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. Mr. Cherry is a senior at Grapevine High School.
