SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT TO TEEN COURT ADVISORY BOARD
RECOMMENDATION:
Consider appointment of Ms. Debbie Armstrong to the Metroport Teen Court Advisory
Board for a two-year term.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Metroport Teen Court Advisory Board was established by an Interlocal Agreement
between the cities of Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake and the Carroll Independent
School District. Each entity is allowed to have two representatives on the Board. The
City of Grapevine's liaisons serve three-year terms. Council Member Freed serves as
the Council liaison.
Ms. Sarah Cloud resigned her position on the Metroport Teen Court Advisory Board
creating the two-year vacancy. Notice of the vacancy was printed in the Grapevine Sun,
the Fort Worth Star Telegram and the Dallas Morning News and posted at City Hall.
Attached is the application received and the current Metroport Teen Court Advisory
Board.
