SUBJECT: COUNCIL MEETING DATES
RECOMMENDATION:
Council to consider canceling the January 1, 2002 and the August 6, 2002 City Council
meetings.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The first City Council meeting in January falls on the New Year holiday, therefore Staff
recommends canceling the January 1, 2002 City Council meeting. The second City
Council meeting in January would be held on January 15 as scheduled.
The first City Council meeting in August falls on National Night Out, therefore Staff
recommends canceling the August 6, 2002 City Council meeting to allow the City Council
to participate in the National Night Out neighborhood programs. The second City Council
meeting in August would be held on August 20 as scheduled.
