City requirements for lot to lot drainage had not been developed at the time of the plat approval. This area of Grapevine has significant elevation changes between lots and in one particular area, creates a significant lot to lot drainage problem impacting four lots on Stonecrest Drive. Staff has received drainage complaints about yard and pool flooding in this area for over five years. October 10, 2002 9:27AM M 0 Staff has been working with the property owners and the Homeowners Association President for many months to develop this plan to address the localized problem. Staff engaged an engineering firm to develop a plan to be implemented in the rear yards of 13 homes on Lookout Court, Stonecrest Drive and Joyce Way. The main trunk line will be constructed (across four properties in a dedicated drainage easement) by the City and will connect to an existing storm drain system in Barberry Road. Individual yard drains and an additional storm drain line to the individual rear yards will be constructed by the individual home owners. Staff solicited bids from three landscaping firms capable of performing the drainage work. The bidders are as follows: James Landscaping, Inc. Claffey Enterprises, Inc. Jordan Landscape & Irrigation, Inc. Staff recommends approval. 0AAGENDAM-15-02\Stonewood Drainage No Bid $19,333.00 $21,000.00 October 10, 2002 9:27AM AI Ob 00 aJ 8bVd 1 M WI 2399WIlHJIH 301SA.
