A RE50LUTION OF THE GITY GOUNGIL OF THE ClTY (�F
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS EXPRESSING INTENT TO FINANCE
EXPENDITURES TO BE INGURRED AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas (the "Gity") is a political subdivision af
the State of Texas authorized to finance its activities by issuing obligatians; and
WHEREAS, the City wil! make, or has made not more than fi4 days prior to the
date hereof, payments with respect to the acquisition of technology equipment of the
public safety building now under construction; and
WHEREAS, #he City desires to reimburse itself foe the costs associated with the
acquisitian from the proceeds of obligatians to be issued subsequent ta the date hereof;
and
WHEREAS, #he City reasonably expects to issue obligations to reimburse itself far
the costs associated with the acquisition; and
WHEREAS, all constitutional and statutory prerequisi#es for the approval of this
resolution have been met, including but not limited #o the Qpen Meetings Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems the adop#ion of this resalution to be in the best
interests of the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
Now, therefore, be it resalved by the City Council of the City af Grapevine, Texas:
Section 1. That all matters stated hereinabove are found to be true and correct
and are incorporated herein by reference as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City reasanably expects to reimburse itself for costs that
have been or will be paid subsequent to the date that is 60 days prior to the date hereaf
and tha#are to be paid in connection with the acquisition of technology equipment for the
new Public Safety building from the proceeds af obligatians to be issued subsequent to
the date hereof.
Section 3. That the City reasonably expects that the maximum principal amount
of obligations issued to reimburse the City of the costs associated with the acquisitian will
be $254,40Q.Q0.
Section 4. That #his resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
