SUBJECT: GRAPEVINE HOUSING AUTHORITY BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS APPOINTMENT
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council to consider appointment of a resident member to the Grapevine Housing
Authority Board of Commissioners to fill a vacant position.
BACKGROUND:
The Grapevine Housing Authority Board of Commissions was established under the
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines. HUD requires one
member of the Commission be a resident member.
Terri Rushing has served as the Resident Member since 2014, but has moved and is no
longer a resident. Her term is set to expire this year.
Due to HUD requirements, a new member must be appointed to fill the unexpired term.
Staff is currently gathering applications and they will be provided at the Council meeting.
