1. Call to Order
The Grapevine Senior Citizens Advisory Board met at 3:30 PM on October 1, 2013 at
the Grapevine Senior Activities Center.
The following members were present:
Roy Stewart, City Council Member Liaison
Pam Price
Trent Kelley, SAC/CAC Supervisor
Kay Blanding
Carey Miller
Lara Sundell, GRACE
Dr. Alexander Graham
Tena Burrell, Co-Chairperson
Those not present:
Charles Burns
Joetta King, Housing Authority
Paul Ernst
Dick Guckel, Chairperson
2. Consideration of minutes for August 6,2013 meeting
Approved
3. Citizen Requests
Kay Blanding asked if Windows 8 is available in computer lab?Answer was NO.
-Incorporate new workers into food service rotation. Answer was to get with Megan
to discuss the topic.
-Jamboree was amazing. It was great to see the new park.
4. New Business
a. Roy Stewart
-National Night Out
-CAC expansion- Trent will do slide presentation.
b. Lara Sundell- GRACE
- Matched 5 seniors since August
- Need more friendly visitor volunteers.

- Need handy man to help seniors.
- GRACE newsletter, Facebook, Women's Division (contact Idell Bowker)
has been advertising these methods, hit up SSA
c. Carey Miller
- Thoroughly enjoyed Senior Jamboree.
- 5"`Annual Empowering Seniors Friday, October 4 at 8:30a-1:30p with
Neil Sperry as featured speaker.

- Slide presentation of the CAC expansion
