SUBJECT: APPROVAL FOR THE PURCHASE OF POOL FEATURE
MAINTENANCE
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council to consider approval for the purchase of pool feature maintenance from.Solid
Waterslide, LLC.
FUNDING SOURCE:
Funds for this purchase are available in account 174-74015-312-070 (Park Maintenance
Projects) in an amount not to exceed $40,050.00.
BACKGROUND:
This process recoats the aquatic features at Dove Waterpark and Pleasant Glade Pool
which protects the product and returns it to its original color and sheen.
Quotes were taken in accordance with City Purchasing Policy. Formal bids and
advertisements are not required for purchases under $50,000. Three vendors submitted
quotations. Solid Waterslide, LLC submitted the lowest responsive and responsible quote
meeting specifications.
Solid Waterslide, LLC $40,050.00
Recreation by Lemmie Jones, LLC $51,250.00
Aquatic Maintenance Restoration, LLC $52,500.00
Staff recommends approval.
