GRAPEVINE SENIOR CITIZENS ADVISORY BOARD
July 5, 2002
The Grapevine Senior Citizens Advisory Board met on July 5, 2002 at the Grapevine
Senior Activities Center.
The following members were present:
Dr. Edith Pewitt—Chair Dorothy Kritz
Miriam Bahner - Secretary R. Bruce Walters
Vivienne Douglas
Others Present:
Linda Gregory
Ted Ware - Council member liaison
Edith introduced and welcomed everyone to the meeting.
The minutes of the previous meeting were considered and approved.
Plans were finalized for the Senior Fair which will be held on Saturday, July 13th
Copies of the program were distributed to those present and a copy is with the minutes.
(lw There were two major changes: 1. Ron Stacy will sing instead of Sue and 2. Kids Who
Care won't be there.
The doors will open at 9:15 A.M. The people will enter through the Palace doors and go
up the ramp. Volunteers will be there to assist the people.
Edith asked that we ask people to come to the Fair on Saturday.
Election of officers for the coming year was held. The following were nominated and
elected:
Edith Pewitt —Chair
Dorothy Kritz —V. Chair
Miriam Bahner— Secretary
The next meeting will be held on August 2, 2002 at 2 P.M. at the Grapevine Senior
Activities Center.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:05 P.M.
