SUBJECT: 2017 GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND PROJECTS AND
PROPOSITION GROUPING
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council to provide guidance to staff for the upcoming FY2017 General Obligation
(GO) bond election.
FUNDING SOURCE:
Funding for the projects will be provided by General Obligation bonds. No tax rate
increase is necessary to retire the debt related to these projects.
BACKGROUND:
Eight staff proposed projects are presented for City Council consideration.

Staff requests that City Council provide input and guidance so a memo and resolution may
be presented for consideration on August 15, 2017 during the regularly scheduled City
Council meeting identifying the projects, proposition grouping, and calling the GO election
for November 7, 2017.
