SUBJECT: CONSIDER APPROVAL OF ADOPT-AN-AREA AGREEMENTS
RECOMMENDATION:
The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and staff recommend the Council approve
Adopt-An-Area agreements with the Grapevine Mills Chick-fiI-A for Anderson Gibson
Road, from the Mills Run trailhead to West Grapevine Mills Circle and the Rose Hollow
Coven for the Northfield Trail off Dallas Road. Copies of the agreements are attached
for review.
FUNDING SOURCE:
Adopt-A-Road signage would. be placed at both ends of these areas. The total cost of
the signage for this is approximately $150 and will come from the Grounds Maintenance
Account 100-42205-312-3.
BACKGROUND:
The proposed agreements are for a period of two years and require the applicants to
pick up litter.a minimum of six times per year. The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
approved the agreements at their June 24th meeting. The Parks & Recreation Advisory
Board and staff recommend approval of the agreements.
