PUBLIC HEARING Board of Zoning Adjustments to conduct a public hearing to consider BZA 82-03 sub- mitted by Roy Stewart Homes. IV. CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES V. MISCELLANEOUS REPORTS AND/OR DISCUSSION VI. ADJOURNMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S., AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 227, ACTS OF THE 61ST LEGISLATURE, REGULAR SES- SION, THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS MEETING AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 25TH DAY OF JUNE, 1982 AT 5:00 P.M. City Secre ry The Board of Zoning Adjustments of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Regular Session on this the lst day of July, 1982 at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, 413 Main Street, with the following persons present to -wit: Jesse Woods Vice -Chairman Doug Lamb Member Joel Stiner First Alternate Gerald Thompson Mmiber constituting a quorum with Chairman Jams Buckner and Member Glen Deavers absent. The following member of the City Staff were present: Marc Guy City Planner Tommy Hardy Building Official Patte Bird Secretary The meting was called to order by Vice -Chairman Jesse Woods, who then explained the procedures of the meting. The Oath of Office was administered by Marc Guy to the following members: Doug Lamb Joel Stiner The next order of business to come before the Board of Zoning Adjustments was the public hearing for the consideration of Application BZA 82-03 submitted by Roy Stewart Homes. The Oath of Truth was administered to applicant Jerry Brown. Mr. Brown then explained that he needs a variance in the back of his property line, which backs up to the Corps of Engineer's property, from twenty-five feet (25') to twelve feet (12') to attach a two car garage. He explained that he intened to do a complete rerouting of the driveway so that it would not look like an add-on; that the present garage would be enclosed and that the new garage would be made from the back porch. There was no one in the audience to speak in opposition and there were no letters of opposition. Member Joel Stiner made a motion to grant this variance and the motion was seconded by Member Doug Lamb. They requested that the minutes reflect that their decision was aided by the fact that Mr. Brown's property backed -up to the Corps of Engineers' property. The motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes : Woods, Lamb, Stiner, Thompson Nays : None Abstain : None wown" bal Unoxe) effeq 2261161- &M The next order of business was for the Board of Zoning Adjustments to consider the minutes of May 6, 1982. Vice Chairman Jesse Woods requested that minutes concerning Public Hearing, BZA 82-02, Bradcur Properties reflect the names of those in the audience that were present to speak. They were Mr® and Mrs. Virgil Williams, 1708 Dunn, Grapevine, TX. It was also requested that a form be made that could be kept at all future meetings to register those persons that wish to speak either for or against the application. Mr. Joel Stiner requested that the spelling of his name be changed from the incorrect Steiner to Stiner® -0411 � Member Doug Lamb made a motion to approve the minutes of the -Yu4#--T, 1982 as an -ended. The motion was seconded by Member Gerald Thompson and prevailed by the following vote: Ayes : Woods, Lamb, Stiner, Thompson Nays : None Abstain : None There being no further business to come before the Board, Member Doug Lamb made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Member Joel Stiner and prevailed by the following vote: Ayes : Woods, Lamb, Stiner, Thompson Nays : None Abstain : None PASSED AND APPROVED on this the 1982. ,7/ -//day of Chaff
