A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, MAKING FINDINGS OF CERTAIN
FACTS RELATIVE TO THE PURCHASE OF A
MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT; DETERMINING THAT THE
MAINTENANCE IS AVAILABLE FROM ONLY ONE SOURCE
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
SAID CONTRACTS AND DOCUMENTS AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine desires to cover the following software under a
maintenance agreement:
SirsiDynix Software Maintenance $11,158.43
SirsiDynix Other Software Products $ 207.33
SirsiDynix 3rd Party Software Maintenance $ 3,090.23
SirsiDynix, Inc. Integrated Maintenance $ 3,749.63
SirsiDynix, Inc. Hardware Maintenance $ 153.40
SirsiDynix, Inc. Subscription Renewals $ 2,074.13
Total $20,433.15
and;
WHEREAS, SirsiDynix, Inc. is the current supplier of the software, server and
peripheral modules and equipment and the sole provider of maintenance for the items
listed above.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes the purchase
of a maintenance agreement to cover the listed software for a total not to exceed
$20,433.15.
Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to take all steps
necessary to consummate the purchase of said maintenance agreement.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 19th day of October, 2010.
