NEW BUSINESS
A. Site Plan Review Committee to consider a public hearing relative to
Conditional Use Request CU17-26 addressed as 1038 Texan Trail, and
consideration of same.
B. Site Plan Review Committee to consider a public hearing relative to
Conditional Use Request CU17-27 addressed as 1501 Gaylord Trail, and
consideration of same.
III. MINUTES
A. Site Plan Review Committee to consider the minutes of the October 12, 2017
and November 8, 2017, regular meeting.

The Site Plan Review Committee of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Session, on
this the 6th day of December 2017, in the Planning and Zoning Conference Room, 200
South Main Street, Second Floor, Grapevine, Texas with the following members
present -to -wit:
Larry Oliver
Chairman
Darlene Freed
Member
Scott Williams
Member
Constituting a quorum and the following City Staff:
Ron Stombaugh Development Services Assistant Director
Albert Triplett Jr. Planner II
Susan Batte Planning Technician
CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Oliver called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.
NEW BUSINESS
CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION CU17-26 GRAPEVINE STATION
First for the Committee to consider was conditional use application CU17-26 for
property located at 1038 Texan Trail, Building #2 and platted as Lot 2A, Block 2A,
Grapevine Station. The applicant was requesting a conditional use permit amend the
previously approved site plan of CU15-36 (Ord. 15-49) for a planned business park to
allow for the addition of a 3,880 square foot office building,
After a brief discussion, Darlene Freed moved to approve conditional use application
CU17-26. Scott Williams seconded the motion, which prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Oliver, Freed and Williams
Nays: None
CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION CU17-27 — GAYLORD TEXAN
First for the Committee to consider was conditional use application CU17-27 for
property located at 1501 Gaylord Trail and platted as Lot 1, Opryland. The applicant
was requesting a conditional use permit amend the previously approved site plan of
CU16-07 (Ord. 16-29) for a planned commercial center to allow additional signage
adjacent to the 2016 hotel and ballroom expansion area.

After a brief discussion, Scott Williams moved to approve conditional use application
CU1 7-27. Larry Oliver seconded the motion, which prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Oliver, Freed and Williams
Nays: None
CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Next for the Committee to consider were the Site Plan Review Committee minutes of
October 12, 2017.
Larry Oliver moved to approve the Site Plan Review Committee minutes of October 12,
2017. Scott Williams seconded the motion, which prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes:
Oliver and Williams
Nays:
None
Abstain:
Freed
Next for the Committee to consider were the Site Plan Review Committee minutes of
November 8, 2017.
Darlene Freed moved to approve the Site Plan Review Committee minutes of
November 8, 2017. Larry Oliver seconded the motion, which prevailed by the following
vote:
Ayes:
Oliver and Freed
Nays:
None
Abstain:
Williams
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, Larry Oliver adjourned the meeting at 1:38 p.m.
