SUBJECT: APPROVAL TO RENEW AN ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR BANK
DEPOSITORY SERVICES
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider the renewal of an annual contract for bank
depository services with Legacy Texas Bank for Fiscal Services.
FUNDING SOURCE: There is no funding required for the banking services as Legacy Texas
Bank has waived all depository service fees for the contract period.
BACKGROUND: The purpose of renewing is to continue with an annual contract for bank
depository services.
Request for proposals were taken in accordance with Texas Local
Government Code Chapter 252.022. The RFP public notice was posted in
the Fort Worth Star -Telegram on March 13 and 20, 2014. If approved, this
would be for the third and final renewal option available.
Staff recommends approval.
