The Crime Control and Prevention District Board of the City of Grapevine, Texas met on
this the 21 st day of August, 2018 in the City Council Chambers, Second Floor, 200 South
Main Street, with the following Board members present:
William D. Tate Presiding Officer
Darlene Freed Board Member
Sharron Rogers Board Member
Mike Lease Board Member
Chris Coy Board Member
Duff O'Dell Board Member
Paul Slechta Board Member
constituting a quorum, and the following members of the City Staff:
Bruno Rumbelow City Manager
Jennifer Hibbs Assistant City Manager
John F. Boyle, Jr. City Attorney
Tara Brooks City Secretary
Greg Jordan Chief Financial Officer
Mike Hamlin Police Chief
CALL TO ORDER
Presiding Officer Tate called the meeting to order at 7:19 p.m.
Item 1. Conduct a public hearing relative to Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Crime Control and
Prevention District Budget.
Presiding Officer Tate declared the public hearing open.
Chief Financial Officer Greg Jordan reported the Crime Control and Prevention District
Budget for the upcoming fiscal year is $17,688,130 which includes an increased transfer
from the General Fund.
No one spoke during the public hearing.
Motion was made to close the public hearing.

Second: Freed
Ayes: Tate, Freed, Rogers, Lease, Coy, O'Dell and Slechta
Nays: None
Approved: 7-0
Item 2. Consider the minutes of the September 13, 2017 Board meetings and take any
necessary action.
Motion was made to approve the minutes from the September 13, 2017 Board meeting.
Motion: Freed
Second: Slechta
Ayes: Tate, Freed, Rogers, Lease, Coy, O'Dell and Slechta
Nays: None
Approved: 7-0
ADJOURNMENT
Motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:22 p.m.
