Staff recommends the City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission accept the
applicant's request to table Conditional Use Request CU03-10 to the May 20, 2003
meeting and take any other action necessary.

Staff has received a letter from the applicants representative requesting to table the
above referenced case in order to meet with surrounding area residents to attempt to
address their concerns relative to this proposed development. See the attached letter.

Per the conversation this monting, the client for the above referenced project has
determined that it would be in his beg interest to table action on. tonight's City Council.
agenda. This is based upon the numerous questions raised by the adjacent neighborhood,

development and offered our assistance at that time. As of this date, we have not been
asked.to participate in their discussions. We feel that a postponement -at this time will
allow as the opportunity to -talk With the neighbors 'and work towards answering their
needs.
