BACKGROUND INFORMATION Site Plan SP17-14 was administratively approved on July 6, 2017 to allow for renovations to the Mustang -Panther football stadium. The renovations included elevation changes throughout, including a new home side arched entry and archway sign. Based upon the type of sign and placement, staff has determined that the archway sign was approved in error. With this request the applicant proposes installing a two and one-half foot, 79.15 -square foot internally illuminated archway sign attached to the brick columns above the home side arched entrance of the stadium. The overall height of the sign when placed atop the entry columns is 19 -feet. No additional changes are proposed.
