Any person who is not scheduled on the agenda may address the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee under Citizen Comments by completing a Citizen Appearance Request form. In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Committee is restricted in discussing or taking action during Citizen Comments. NEW BUSINESS 2. Consider the minutes of the December 5, 2018 Animal Shelter Advisory Committee meeting. 3. Update on new facility. 4. Review of shelter statistics for the quarter. 5. General shelter ops updates and event information. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES The Committee was provided m copy of the December Gm. 2018 meeting minutes. Tonnetim' Crocker made a motion toapprove the minutes, and Joy Mayo seconded. Motion prevailed bythe following vote: Ayes: Crooker, Hallmark, Mayo, Turns, Valentine Nays: None Absent: Snyder ITEM 3. UPDATE ON NEW FACILITY Kristina Valentine an update on the facility. We are working to select calming, welcoming colors and designs to reduce fear inthe animals and provide inviting environment for visitors. ITEM 4.
