The City typically contracts with ONCOR to install the street light poles, wiring and power for street Fights on our City projects. Since this project is funded with City and Federal funds, the street Fights have to be designed and constructed in compliance with Federal and TxDOT standards which are not consistent with ONCOR's standards. Our consultant is currently preparing the construction plans for these street lights to comply with the required standards. An additional change order will follow for the installation of the wire, setting the street light poles and providing power for the street lights in compliance with Federal and TxDOT standards: Staff recommends approval.
