CHESAPEAKE ENERGY
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff has received a request from Chesapeake Energy requesting a one-year extension to
their previously approved Special Use Permit SU08-05 to allow for gas well drilling and
production in a nonresidential zoning district to expire on December 16, 2010.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Special Use Request SU08-05 was originally considered and approved at the December
16, 2008 joint public hearing. The site is located at 3740 Euless-Grapevine Road and is
platted as Lot 1, Block 1, A.C. Stone Addition.

Re: Zoning Case SU08-05, AC Stone South Special Use Permit Extension Request
Mr. Stombaugh:
Chesapeake Operating, Inc. respectfully requests that zoning case SUOB-05 be
extended an additional year from its' December 16, 2009 expiry. We are currently
scheduled to drill on this location, and are working with the City of Grapevine to address
all outstanding comments that.pertain to the issuance of our drilling permits. if there is
anything else you need to facilitate this request, please let me know.
