SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF PAINTING THE EXTERIOR OF CVB HEADQUARTERS
BUILDING
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider the approval for paint and stain of the Convention
and Visitors Bureau Headquarters exterior facades, windows, doors,
columns, railing and decorative metalwork by Ware Painting.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in account 115-43350-350-001 in the amount of
$25,775.
BACKGROUND: Scheduled maintenance and paint for CVB Headquarters building.Paint
and stain colors on wood facades, doors, trim, ornamental metal and metal
railing, to remain the same as original colors. Scheduled painting and
repairs are required every 3 to 5 years to keep the wood windows, trim,
facades and ornamental metal in appropriate condition.
Staff recommends approval.
