The Building Board of Appeals for the City of Grapevine, Texas, met in regular session,
Monday, December 13, 1994, at 6:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers, Room #205, 307 West
DallaS Road, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present:
Joe Lipscomb
Chairman
Vernie Henderson
Member
Greg Czapanskiy
Member
Art Gordon
Member
constituting a quorum. Also present was Council Representative, Ted Ware and following City
Staff:
Greg Wheeler Building Official
Paula Pennington Secretary
CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Joe Lipscomb called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M.
NEW BUSINESS
BBA 93-16 JULIAN AND MARY SIMIEN
An application was submitted to the Department of Community Development by Julian and Mary
M. Simien regarding the incomplete structure located at 3326 Burning Log, Grapevine, Texas,
legally known as Lot 110, Block 1, Countryside Estates Addition. The building permit was
issued on May 25, 1993, and the last inspection to date was June 17, 1993.
Greg Wheeler explained the case to the Board.
Mr. and Mrs. Simien were both present and she spoke concerning the case
Mr. 011ie Miers was also present and spoke for his side of the case.
With no one else to speak for or against the request, Dennis Roberts made a motion to close the
public hearing. Art Gordon seconded the motion which prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes:
Lipscomb, Henderson, Gordon, Czapanskiy, Roberts
Nays:
None
Absent:
None
Art Gordon made a motion to table the case to seek legal advise and present at the next meeting.
Greg Czapanskiy seconded the motion which prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes:
Lipscomb, Henderson, Gordon, Czapanskiy, Roberts
Nays:
None
Absent:
None
MINUTES
The Building Board of Appeals considered the minutes of the October 11, 1993, meeting. Greg
Czapanskiy made a motion to approve the minutes, Dennis Roberts seconded the motion which
prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Lipscomb, Henderson, Gordon, Czapanskiy, Roberts
Nays: None
Absent: None
ADJOURNMENT
With no further discussion, Dennis Roberts made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Vernie
Henderson seconded the motion by the following vote:
Ayes:
Lipscomb, Henderson, Gordon, Czapanskiy, Roberts
Nays:
None
Absent:
None
The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 P.M.
