SUBJECT: CONSIDER APPROVAL OF ADOPT-AN-AREA AGREEMENTS
RECOMMENDATION:
The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and staff recommend the Council approve
Adopt-An-Area agreements with the Ebby Halliday for SH 26, from Kimball Road to SH
114, the Allen Family for Grapevine-Euless Road, from SH 360 to Glade Road and with
Demmilee Video Productions for the shoreline from Trawick Boat Ramp to Sand Bass
Boat Ramp and the Davis Family for Shady Brook Drive, from Dove Loop to Lucas
Drive. Copies of the agreements are attached for review.
FUNDING SOURCE:
Adopt-A-Road signage would be placed at both ends of these areas. The total cost of
the signage for this is approximately $300 and will come from the Grounds Maintenance
Account 100-42205-312-3.
BACKGROUND:
The proposed agreements are for a period of two years and require the applicants to
pick up litter a minimum of six times per year. The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
approved the agreements at their September 16th meeting. The Parks & Recreation
Advisory Board and staff recommend approval of the agreements.

TERMS AND CONDZTIONS
The City of Grapevine, Texas, hereinafter called the "City,"
and Ryan Davis & Family hereinafter called the "Group,"
recognize the need and the desirability of clean, well
maintained parks, trails, roads, shorelines, etc., and are
entering this Agreement to permit the Group to contribute
toward the effort of maintaining a clean and well maintained
areas owned or leased by the City of Grapevine.
