I cannot be at the City Council Meeting of Sep 3rd of 2019. Please submit this e-mail as my "opposition"to the
proposed tax rate increase;public hearing on agenda item number 6. Thank you; my comment:
With the State of Texas'broken system of funding its operation and more importantly its public school system,
and, with the recent, irrational,hypes in the increased value of properties; a ta.�c rate increase, at the City level, is
an insult to an injury. Our State Law makers keep getting elected and re-elected on the promise of dealing with
the school funding issue; yet, spent time/effort to pass legislation on which chicken sandwich people are to eat,
as if the subject multi-billion-dollar company did not have attorney to bring suit under the exiting Constitutional
provision at the State or the Federal level! Yet, us,the little people, get shafted. I cannot image why there is a
short fall, at the City level,requiring additional tax rate hike
As a citizen and a property owner in the City of Grapevine, I oppose any tax rate increase.
