BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The final plat was on the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council agenda for March 19, 2013. In that meeting, the Planning and Zoning Commission approved the final plat by a vote of 7-0. The City Council adjourned the meeting without taking action on the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation for approval. to recommends approval. The City further finds that the required dedication is related both in nature and extent t o t he impact of the proposed development as follows: The right-of-way is necessary to provide for future widening of public streets that will serve the development of this site. The onsite utility easements are necessary to provide for a utility system to serve this development and connect to existing utilities on surrounding property. The onsite drainage easements are necessary to provide for storm drainage improvements to serve the development of the site.
