SUBJECT: APPROVAL TO RENEW AN ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR CYBER
LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider the renewal of an annual contract with XL
Insurance Company for cyber liability insurance coverage.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in account 100-45550-109-001 (Insurance -General
Liability) in the estimated annual amount of $35,000.
BACKGROUND: The City's consultant, Hub International Insurance Services (HUB),
secured pricing for the renewal of the Cyber Insurance policy with XL
Insurance Company. This is a one-year contract.
Staff recommends approval.
