SUBJECT: APPROVAL FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 17' FIBERGLASS SANTA
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider approval for the purchase of 17' fiberglass Santa
from Bronner's Commercial Display for the Grapevine Convention and
Visitors Bureau.
FUNDING SOURCE: Upon approval, funds are available in the CVB Fund, account 115-42200-
350-001 for a total amount not to exceed $17,075.
BACKGROUND: This purchase is for a 17' fiberglass Santa to be placed on State Highway
26 near Texan Trail and will welcome people to Historic Downtown
Grapevine.
Only two suppliers were located and two quotes were received as follows:
Bronner's Commercial Display - $17,075
Arnett Marketing, LLC - $17,156
Staff recommends approval.
