A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION
OF $200,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND
UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE TO ACCOUNT NUMBER
100 - 44540 -312 -8 AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the renovation and new construction for the current Community
Activities center will require the building to close during construction; and
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of continuing current activities offered at the
Community Activities Center to another site during construction; and
WHEREAS, the relocation of the activities to another site will require the City to
appropriate funds to lease and operate another facility in the city; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine has sufficient funds in the unappropriated
balance of the General fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct
and are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes the sum of
$200,000 be appropriated to Account Number 100 -44540 -312 -8 from the unappropriated
balance of the General Fund.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 7th day of January, 2014.
