COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Special Workshop Session on this the 28th day of February, 1994 at 6:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the D/FW Airport Hilton and Executive Conference Center, 1800 Highway 26 East, with the following members present to-wit: William D. Tate Mayor Ted R. Ware Mayor Pro Tem Sharron Spencer Council Member C. Shane Wilbanks Council Member Gil Traverse Council Member � Jerry L. Pittman Council Member Will Wickman Council Member constituting a quorum, with the following members of the City Staff: ' Trent Petty City Manager David Tesmer Assistant to the City Manager Thomas Martin Police Chief Douglas Evans Parks & Recreation Director ' Michael Webb Interim Internal Services Director CALL TO ORDER Mayor Tate called the workshop to order at 7:03 p.m. City Manager Trent Petty led the City Council in discussion concerning the planned use of federal asset sharing proceeds by the Grapevine Police Department. Information was presented by Police Chief Thomas Martin regarding the utilization of Police Department Staff. Parks & Recreation Director pouglas Evans presented the proposal for the development of Bear Creek Park in south Grapevine. Interim Internal Services Director provided an overview of the solid waste disposal franchise agreement with Laidlaw. City Manager Petty led the City Council in discussion of the following issues: marketing efforts, building utilization, additional parking, proposed use of bond fund savings for future City projects and possible formation of a Teen Court. There was no formal action taken by the City Council on any of the discussed items. � 02/28/94 ADJOURNMENT - Council Member Traverse, seconded by Council Member Wickman, offered a motion to adjourn the workshop at 8:35 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse, Pittman & Wickman Nays: None ' PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 22nd day of March , 1994. � APPROVED: William D.
