CITY OF GRAPEVINE
The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Special Workshop Session on
this the 9th day of May, 1994 at 6:15 p.m. in the Carnegie Suite of the D/FW Airport
Hilton and Executive Conference Center, 1800 Highway 26 East, with the following
members present to-wit:
William D. Tate Mayor
Ted R. Ware Mayor Pro Tem
Sharron Spencer Council Member
C. Shane Wilbanks Council Member
Gil Traverse Council Member
Jerry L. Pittman Council Member
Will Wickman Council Member
constituting a quorum, with the following members of the City Staff:
Trent Petty City Manager
David Tesmer Assistant to the City Manager
; Larry Koonce Finance Director
Mildred Ellis Farmer Budget Analyst
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
City Manager Trent Petty led the City Council in discussion concerning the Master
Drainage Plan Update as presented by Freese and Nichols, Inc. Also discussed was
a budget update for fiscal year 1994.
There was no formal action taken by the City Council
ADJOURNMENT
Council Member Pittman, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Ware, offered a motion to
adjoum the meeting at 10:00 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
' Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse, Pittman & Wickman
Nays: None

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 5:45 p.m.
ITEM 1 . RESOLUTION, CANVASS CITY OFFICER ELECTION
City Secretary Linda Huff requested the City Council consider a resolution canvassing
the 1994 City Officer Election held on Saturday, May 7, 1994, at the Grapevine
Convention Center. There were 1,939 total votes cast which represented 9.g% of
the City's registered voters. Mr. William D. Tate was re-elected Mayor. Mr. C. Shane
was re-elected to City Council Place 1 . Ms. Sharron Spencer was re-elected to City
Council Place 2.
Council Member Pittman, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Ware, offered a motion to
adopt the resolution. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse, Pittman & Wickman
Nays: None

Council Member Spencer, seconded by Council Member Pittman, offered a motion to
adjourn the meeting at 6:50 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse, Pittman & Wickman
Nays: None
