City Council to conduct a workshop relative to Long Range Planning and take any necessary action. Tesmer Assistant to the City Manager ; Larry Koonce Finance Director CALL TO ORDER Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. I ; I WORKSHOP � � Ms. Marilynne Davis, of M&D Associates, led the City Council and City Staff in a � discussion on generalizing the direction of the City. A process of decision making and � goal setting was provided as a framework for this discussion. Finance Director Larry Koonce presented a report on the City's "Financial Trend % ' Monitoring System and Long-Range Financial Plan Overview". Discussion followed the presentation. Ms. Davis summarized the evening's discussion and provided the framework for the � following night's workshop. ' I , � 03/29/30 ADJOURNMENT Council Member Traverse, seconded by Council Member Wickman, offered a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:40 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse, Pittman & Wickman Nays: None PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 6th day of April , 1993. Tesmer Assistant to the City Manager Mildred Ellis-Farmer Budget Director CALL TO ORDER Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. , WORKSHOP ' Ms. Marilynne Davis, of M&D Associates, led the City Council and City Staff in a discussion of accomplishments and successful projects over the last 18 months in the City. Financial issues ranging from revenue enhancements to sales taxes were reviewed and discussed. Priorities were then identified by the City Council and Staff concernin olic issues, direction and oals for the Cit . Out of these priorities, 9P Y J Y three general areas were considered as top priorities by the Council for the City Manager to focus on during the coming budget year: economic development, quality �I of life, and buildings and infrastructure.
