FUNDING SOURCE: Funding for this purchase is currently available in various accounts noted in the amount not to exceed $95,983.00. 32 5-48 860-101-13-0011 Machinery and Equipment 200-44540-530-2 Professional Services 200-44540-531-2 Professional Services 100-42281-417-2 Apparatus and Tools 100-42200-312-4 Operating Supplies 115-42281-350-01 Apparatus and Tools BACKGROUND: This purchase will be made in accordance with a contract established with Alexander Open Systems, Inc. by the State of Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) Cooperative Contracts Program. The it is allowed to participate in this program through our cooperative membership. Purchases through this program are authorized under Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 271, Subehapter D and Texas Government Code Chapter 2054, Section 2054.0565 (b). Bids were taken by the cooperative and a contract was awarded to Alexander Open Systems, Inc. The IT Department staff and Purchasing reviewed the contract for specification compliance and pricing and determined that the contract would provide the best product and pricing for meeting the needs of the City.
