29th day of October, 1992 at 6:00 p.m. at the Grapevine Convention Center, '
Chancellor I and II, 1209 South Main Street, with the following members present to- �

Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 6:25 p.m.
INVOCATION '

Council Member Wickman delivered the Invocation. '
ITEM 1 . EXECUTNE SESSION '
Mayor Tate announced the City Council would conduct a closed session regarding [A) '
pending or contemplated litigation (relative to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
Board's decision relative to proposed Runway 16/34 West) under amendments to '
Article 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S., Subsection 2(e).
Upon reconvening in open session, Mayor Tate asked if there was any action
necessary relative to the closed session. City Attorney John F. Boyle, Jr. stated that
after review of the proposal for consultant services as presented by Mr. Bill Clayton
of Capital Consultants, he recommended the contract for favorable consideration by
the City Council. City Manager Trent Petty requested the City Council consider
acceptance of the contract as presented by Mr. Bill Clayton of Capital Consultants.

Council Member Spencer, seconded by Council Member Wiibanks, offered a motion
to approve the contract as presented by Mr. Bill Clayton. The motion prevailed by the
following vote: ,
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse, Pittman & Wickman
Nays: None

ADJOURNMENT

Council Member Traverse, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Ware, made a motion to
adjourn at 8:05 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote:

Nays: None
