1. City Council to conduct workshop concerning City Council Goals
for Fiscal Year 1992-1993 .

The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Special
Session on this the 28th day of April, 1992 at 6: 00 p.m. in the
Board Room of the DFW Airport Hilton Executive Conference Center, '
1800 East Highway 26, with the following members present to-wit:
William D. Tate Mayor
Ted R. Ware Mayor Pro Tem
Sharron Spencer Council Member '
C. Shane Wilbanks Council Member
Gil Traverse Council Member
Jerry L. Pittman Council Member
Will Wickman Council Member
constituting a quorum, with the following members of the City
Staf f:
Mark S. Watson City Manager
Trent Petty Assistant City Manager
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 6:25 p.m.
WORKSHOP
City Manager Marks S. Watson led the City Council in discussion of
the following topics: (1) City's overall financial condition
relative to the 92-93 Budget, tax rates, and sales tax options; (2)
City Council Policy and future action relative to the Lake Master
Plan, Council Committee structures, annexation programs, Economic
Development programs; (3) organizational interests relative to the
Police Department, Fire Department, Parks Department, and Court;
(4) capital projects relative to newly approved bond projects,
computer needs, radio system and downtown parking.
There was no action taken by the City Council.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Pro Tem Ware, seconded by Council Member Pittman, made a
motion to adjourn at 8:45 p.m. The motion prevailed by the
following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse, Pittman & Wickman
Nays: None
