CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 6 :35 p.m.

ITEM 1 . CONSULTANTS RELATIVE TO PROPOSED DALLAS/FORT WORTH s
€
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT EXPANSION
City Manager Mark S. Watson stated it is the recommendation of �
Cutler & Stanfield and Power & Deatherage that the City of
Grapevine authorize the law firms to hire technical consultants to
' review the Environmental Impact Statement and conduct detailed ;:
; studies of the information being presented by Dallas/Fort Worth �
International Airport related to the proposed expansion of
� Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport as it relates to proposed
Runway 16/34 West. The following consultants are recommended:
(1) Apogee Research - to conduct economic analysis; `

(2) ENSR Consulting and Engineering - to conduct analysis of f:
�
air, water, and land-based environmental impacts; and �
(3) a firm to be named at a later date to conduct an air '�
safety analysis. �

i Mr. Watson advised the estimated costs of the consultants would be s''
� approximately $80 ,000 to the City of Grapevine. "
; Council Member Wickman, seconded by Council Member Wilbanks, made a
' motion to approve as recommended. The motion prevailed by the
following vote:

Ayes . Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks & Wickman
; Nays . None ``
