SUBJECT: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PERSONS TO SIGN ON
ACCOUNTS AND TRANSACTIONS WITH UBS FINANCIAL
SERVICES
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council to consider a resolution authorizing signatures for investment transactions
with UBS Financial Services. The names to be authorized are:
William Tate, Mayor
Bruno Rumbelow, City Manager
John McGrane, Administrative Services Director
Karen Walker, Controller
Debra Russo, Internal Auditor

The Texas Local Government Code Section 104.002 authorizes municipalities to
establish depositories for investments.
These individuals are hereby authorized and empowered to sign investment
transactions with UBS Financial Services until they have received notice in writing that
this authority, as to any or all individuals, has been changed or revoked.
Staff recommends approval.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING PERSONS NAMED
BELOW TO SIGN ON ALL INVESTMENT ACCOUNTS AND
TRANSACTIONS WITH UBS FINANCIAL SERVICES AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the persons named below are those persons who are hereby
authorized and empowered for and in the name and on the behalf of the City of
Grapevine, Texas which is not in contravention of the City Charter, to sign investment
transactions with UBS Financial Services until said UBS Financial Services have
received notice in writing that this authority, as to any or all of the persons whose
names appear below, has been changed or revoked.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine hereby authorizes
William Tate, Mayor; Bruno Rumbelow, City Manager; John F. McGrane, Administrative
Services Director; Karen L. Walker, Controller and Debra Russo, Internal Auditor on all
accounts with UBS Financial Services.

That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 1st day of April, 2014.
