SUBJECT: APPROVAL FOR THE AWARD OF AN INFORMAL REQUEST FOR
QUOTE FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL POLES
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider approval for the purchase of traffic signal poles
from Redwine Wallace & Associates for the Public Works Department.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the Capital Project Fund 177 for a total amount not
to exceed $46,816.
BACKGROUND: This purchase is for traffic signal poles for the Main Street/Hudgins Street
intersection.
Quotes were taken in accordance with City Purchasing Policy. Formal
bids and advertisements are not required for purchases under $50,000.
Three vendors submitted quotations. Redwine Wallace & Associates
submitted the lowest responsive and responsible quote meeting
specifications.
